PixelTool’s high quality HD MPEG encoder is now available as a universal export component for Intel and PPC Macs and for PC Windows platforms. HDProQT is a QuickTime plug-in that provides HD export capability to Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After effects, or any QuickTime enabled product.

Broadcast ready content can be exported directly from the time line of Mac or MS Windows QuickTime enabled applications including Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects.  This eliminates the need to transfer edited files to a compression program and then to a multiplexing process.  All Levels and Profiles are supported including 4:2:2 at 200mbps and 4K frame sizes.

HDProQT™ produces MPEG streams that are compliant with the latest HD and SD specifications including Cable Labs, ATSC, HDTV, and Blu-ray. After devoting considerable time in preparing your video content, and you do not want your effort ruined with poor quality encoding. The ultra high quality, high speed PixelTools encode engine can encode directly from the basic YUV components on your time line. This results in an MPEG that exactly reproduces the colors of your source video with a minimum of artifacts even at low bit-rates. The save and restore settings capability eliminates the error prone setting adjustments.  Cable Labs presets assure Cable Labs compliance from every encode.  The product can multiplex pre-encoded AC3, AAC, MPEG, or DTS audio files into your transport stream or can encode the audio directly from the timeline. HDProQT supports CEA-708 and CEA-608 closed captioning as defined in ATSC and SCTE.
